Deals:

• 3i Infrastructure-backed Future Biogas acquires a portfolio of six anaerobic digestion facilities.

• Accenture, a global professional services company, has acquired BOSLAN, a provider of management services for large infrastructure projects.

• Antin Infrastructure Partners, ICAMAP and Borletti Group announce today that they have signed an agreement to sell Grandi Stazioni Retail, who operates the long-term leaseholds of the 14 largest Italian railway stations, to DWS and OMERS.

• Apollo and family-owned investment company, Rettig Oy Ab, have completed the acquisition of a 95% stake in Purmo Group, a company specializing in indoor climate solutions headquartered in Finland.

• Arcus Infrastructure Partners backed Coolworld acquires The CRS Group, a provider of modular cold storage solutions in the UK and Ireland.

• BNP Paribas has entered into exclusive negotiations with AXA to acquire 100% of AXA Investment Managers. The agreed price for the acquisition and the set-up of the partnership is €5.1 billion at closing, which is expected in mid-2025.

• CVC DIF has announced the acquisition of Medneo UK, a leading diagnostic imaging company, specialising in the provision of mobile MRI and CT scanners, and imaging services.

• DWS has acquired 100% of the shares in the Swedish onshore wind farm Heather Wind AB from Octopus Renewables on behalf of its European infrastructure investment strategy.

• Enfinity Global has announced the financial close of a €500 million financing that, combined with project finance, will fund the development and construction of 1.5 gigawatts of solar assets in Italy.

• Equitix and Capital Energy have formed strategic partnership to deliver more than 1GW of hybridization projects in Spain. This has been solidified with the acquisition of an additional 120-megawatt hybridization project.

• Equitix has invested in the 330-megawatt Gode Wind 1 offshore wind farm, located in the German sector of the North Sea.

• KGAL announces that its renewable energy fund KGAL ESPF 5 is entering into a joint venture with IMCS, a renowned Italian renewable energy specialist, to jointly develop battery energy storage systems in Italy.

• KGAL through it’s ESPF 5 fund has acquired a 50MW solar park in the Czech Republic.

• Lightsource bp completed its largest UK solar project to date and subsequently sold the solar farm and colocated energy-storage project to Schroders Greencoat.

• Nala Renewables acquires 99MW wind project in Romania from OX2.

• NextEnergy Capital is pleased to announce that its latest international OECD Fund, NextPower V ESG has entered into a binding agreement to acquire a 248MW portfolio of 12 solar PV projects in North-Eastern Spain.

• Railpen and GreenPower launch JV to codevelop 66MW wind project in Scotland.

• Stonepeak portfolio company euNetworks Group, a Western European bandwidth infrastructure company, has closed on a €2.1 billion equity recapitalization.

• Sunly, a renewable-energy producer, has raised €300 million in debt financing to accelerate the construction of 1.3 gigawatts of solar, wind, storage and hybrid parks across the Baltics and Poland. The financing was provided by investors including Rivage Investment and CIP.

• A consortium of Vauban Infrastructure Partners, EDF Invest and MEAG, has reached an agreement to acquire 100% of Cellnex’s Austrian tower business, The Austrian TowerCo.

Fundraising:

• BlackRock’s Global Infrastructure Debt Fund II holds its first close at $1.3bn, with a final target of $2.5bn.

• F2i Sgr has successfully reached the final close of Infrastructure Debt Fund 1 (IDF1) exceeding the €500 million funding target.

• Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners has completed a final closing for its Net Zero Power Fund (NZPF), raising a total of $3 billion of new capital commitments across the fund and co-investment vehicles.

• RBC Global Asset Management secures more than $850m in the second subscription of it’s RBC Global Infrastructure Fund. This brings the total capital raised so far to $1.5 billion.

• Stonepeak has closed its mid-market infrastructure fund, Stonepeak Opportunities Fund, with $3.15 billion of commitments. The fund was oversubscribed from its original $2.5 billion target and closed at its revised hard cap.
